[Online] If you'd like to become a naturalized U.S. citizen, attend this 12-week series to prepare for the citizenship test in a small, online group. Content includes American history, civics, speaking, and reading and writing in English. The first class introduces the course and materials.
Classes meet 6-7:45 PM on the following Tuesdays: January 18, 25; February 1, 8, 15, 22; March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; April 5.
This is a live Zoom instructional course. Registrants will receive an invitation link with instructions on how to log into the class.
By registering for week 1 of the Citizenship Preparation Class, you will automatically be enrolled in all 12 weeks of the class.
Your name, email, and phone number will be shared with HIAS so that they can contact you to obtain additional pre-registration information, and to verify registration.
Verified registrants may pick up a free textbook at the library January 10 through January 17.

Registration for VAPLD cardholders and HIAS legal clients: December 1 through January 3. For VAPLD cardholders, your card number will be required to register.
Registration for all others begins January 3. No library card number required to register.
