 [Online] Learn about the June 1969 police raid of the Stonewall Inn in New York’s Greenwich Village that ignited the modern gay rights movement in the United States. This exhibition, currently at the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, features artifacts and images from key moments in gay rights history and popular culture’s role influencing attitudes about the LGBTQ community.
