Event Type: Adults Date: 2/8/2021 Start Time: 1:00 PM End Time: 2:30 PM Description: [Online] Week 1. If you'd like to become a naturalized U.S. citizen, attend this 11-week series to prepare for the citizenship test in a small, online group. Content includes American history, civics, speaking, and reading and writing in English. The first class introduces the course and materials. No library card is required to register.
Vernon Area Public Library Classes meet 1-2:30 PM on the following Mondays: February 8, 22; March 1, 8, 15, 29; April 5, 12, 19, 26; and May 3. By registering for week 1 of the Citizenship Preparation Class, you will automatically be enrolled in all 11 weeks of the class. Pick up your free textbook and class materials in the curbside pickup lane, beginning February 1. You will receive an invitation with instructions on how to log in to the class. Your name, email, and phone number will be shared with HIAS so that they can contact you to obtain additional pre-registration information.
