Art Workshop: Introduction to Watercolor Techniques

 [Online] Creating art can release stress and improve problem-solving skills. Learn the basic techniques for painting with watercolors with instructor Jennifer Evans of Periwinkle Art Studio.

Supplies you will need:
- Watercolor paint set (either pan watercolors or tube watercolors and a palette)
- Watercolor brushes (#12 round is recommended, and a fine detail brush if desired)
- Watercolor paper (9"x 12" cold pressed, 140 lb. weight, several sheets)
- Pencil
- Water container
- Paper towel or rag
*Optional, for techniques: a white crayon, pinch of sea salt or coffee grounds, small piece of plastic wrap or plastic grocery bag

This program uses free Zoom conferencing. After registration, you will receive an email explaining how to join the event using your computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. You may also listen in, no video required, from your cell phone or landline.
