Planting the Library Garden (adults)

 If weather is inclement, the library will email all registered patrons by 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 1.
Learn about gardening basics and dig in to plant vegetables in the Library Garden with the help of a Master Gardener from the University of Illinois Extension Office. All produce is donated to the Vernon Township Food Pantry. Optional: Sign up for a week to help tend the garden & deliver harvested vegetables to the nearby pantry during the growing season. Planting rain date: Saturday afternoon, 1 p.m.
