Event Details
Grades 3-5. Learn about the life and work of contemporary artist Bisa Butler who celebrates Black Life and tells stories through her vibrant quilted portraits. Then, create your own masterpiece inspired by her art. Step-by-step instructions provided by Miss Jane.
You will need:
- multimedia paper or any white paper
- a pencil and eraser
- black Sharpie
- colored pencils, markers, or crayons
- compass or large circle shape to trace
