Recent in-depth surveys show a disturbing lack of public awareness about the nature and scope of contemporary antisemitism. Learn about the trends in U.S. antisemitism with an analysis presented by Sarah van Loon, the Chicago regional director of the American Jewish Committee (AJC). Explore what this means for efforts to combat antisemitism in Chicagoland, the broader Midwest, and across America. The conversation will be moderated by Jason Marck, Senior Producer of WBEZ's Chicago history and culture podcast, Curious City, and host of WBEZ's eclectic music program Radio Z.
Presented in partnership with these Chicago-area libraries: Cook Memorial Public Library, Deerfield Public Library, Ela Area Public Library, Evanston Public Library, Glencoe Public Library, Highland Park Public Library, Indian Trails Public Library District, Lincolnwood Public Library District, Skokie Public Library, Wilmette Public Library, Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District, and Vernon Area Public Library District.
