The five Great Lakes combined are the largest body of fresh water in the world. They are an and an economic powerhouse, an irreplaceable source of drinking water for over 40 million people, and home to many species.  This amazing resource faces many critical challenges including invasive species, climate change, and the proliferation of plastics and microplastic pollution.

This interactive presentation from Alliance for the Great Lakes highlights the natural wonder of the Great Lakes, the critical issues facing them, and what you can do to help.
