Music as an Intervention for Child Development, Health, and Wellness
Join Little Miss Ann (Ann Torralba), a nationally touring Kids Musician who has made 6 award winning kids albums. She is also a former Chicago Public School teacher, a mom, a governor for the Chicago chapter of the Recording Academy GRAMMYS® and a first generation Filipina American. During this multi-modal workshop, Ann will share information and video examples as to how music encourages children's education, positive mental health, and physical growth specifically in early childhood settings. Ann will also teach interactive and engaging songs that encourage language development, body awareness, self-control and inclusion.
Teachers receive two PD credits. Free and open to all preschool teachers.
You may choose to attend this program in-person or via Zoom.
