Event Details

[In-person] Plant vegetables in the library with the help of master gardeners from the University of Illinois Extension Office.  Learn about gardening basics and then dig in to plant followed by a special story and craft with a librarian.  All produce from the Library Garden is donated to the Vernon Township Food Pantry. RAINDATE: June 5 at 10am.

Optional: Sign up for a week to help tend the garden and deliver harvested vegetables to the nearby pantry during the growing season.
