Event Details

Adults. Learn about gardening basics, then dig in to plant vegetables in the library garden. Produce harvested from the Library Garden is donated to the Vernon Township Food Pantry.

This event is free and open to all. Signup is required. Sign up online here, by telephone at 224-543-1485, or in person at the library.

RAINDATE: June 10 at 4 p.m.

Optional: Sign up for a week in summer to help tend the garden and deliver harvested vegetables to the nearby food pantry. Send an email to garden@VAPLD.info for details.
