Event Details

Plant vegetables in the library with the help of master gardeners from the University of Illinois Extension Office. Learn about gardening basics and then dig in to plant. All produce from the Library Garden is donated to the Vernon Township Food Pantry. This program is for ADULTS. RAINDATE: June 5 at 10am.

Optional: Sign up for a week to help tend the garden and deliver harvested vegetables to the nearby pantry during the growing season.  Send an email to garden@vapld.info for details.
