[Online] Learn more about how to become a U.S. citizen. Representatives from HIAS Immigration & Citizenship, an organization supporting immigrants for more than 100 years, explain the journey from permanent resident (Green Card holder) to U.S. citizen. Get the information you need about eligibility, N-400 applications, medical exceptions, fees, public benefits, the interview, and the oath ceremony.

A question and answer session follows the presentation. If you would like to submit a question in advance, email your question to the library

Also covered is information about the 12-week Citizenship Class that is offered at Vernon Area Public Library beginning January 16, 2024.
