Dorothea Lange's insightful work established her as one of the nation's foremost documentary photographers of the 20th century. She was renowned for bringing dignity to her subjects, such as sharecroppers and migrant farmworkers, when few others did. Learn about her extraordinary career and view examples of her work, including Migrant Mother along with rarely seen images, with Richard Cahan, author, journalist, and former picture editor for the Chicago Sun-Times.
This program will be recorded and available on YouTube for two weeks after the event.
