At this One Book, One Community finale event, novelist Brendan Slocumb shares his inspiration behind this year's selection, The Violin Conspiracy.  

The riveting novel tells the story of a young Black musician who discovers that his old family fiddle is actually a priceless Stradivarius: when it’s stolen on the eve of the world’s most prestigious classical music competition, he risks everything to get it back.

The program will take place in the West Auditorium of Stevenson High School, One Stevenson Drive, Lincolnshire, IL
