Grades K-2 with an adult. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month we will learn about the life and work of Joan Miro who is one of the most influential Catalan-born artists of the 20th century. We will learn about his method of combining abstract art with surrealism. Then Miss Jane will show you step-by-step how to create your own masterpiece inspired by Miro. 

This program is free and open to all children in grades K-2 with an adult. No library card is required. Sign up is required. Sign up online here, by telephone at 224-543-1486, or in person at any public service desk in the library.
