Program Description

Event Details

Grades K-2 with an adult. We will learn about the life and work of Frida Kahlo, who was one of the most famous artists of Mexico, in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. We will also learn about the Surrealist movement which she was associated with then create our own mixed-media masterpiece inspired by Kahlo’s self-portrait, "The Frame" (1938). 

Miss Jane leads you with step-by-step instructions. 

Dress for a mess.
