Event Details

(Online) The first woman to win an individual Pulitzer in both Arts & Letters and Journalism, New York Times journalist Andrea Elliott’s Pulitzer Prize-winning book Invisible Child:  Poverty, Survival, and Hope in an American City chronicles eight dramatic years in the life of a young girl named Dasani and her family as they move from shelter to shelter in New York. By turns heartbreaking and inspiring, Invisible Child is a story about the power of resilience, the importance of family, and the cost of inequality—told through the crucible of one remarkable girl.
