Event Details

Grades 3-5. Create a mythical dragon, a legendary symbol of Chinese Culture,  in celebration of Lunar New Year. Miss Jane provides step-by-step instructions. 

You will need:
- a pencil and eraser
- a set of watercolor paints
- round and flat paint brushes, large and small 
- container of water (such as a recycled jar)
- canvas or watercolor/mixed media paper
- black pen (gel, roller ball or extra fine sharpie preferred)
- paper towels
- masking or painter's tape
- coarse salt (optional)
