Program Description

Event Details

[Online] When Dr. John Marshall, a world-class oncologist at Georgetown University, learned that his wife, Liza, had cancer, he wasn’t prepared, despite his experience and training. Together, he and Liza wrote about their journey and published Off Our Chests: A Candid Tour Through the World of Cancer. This deeply personal, wry, and insightful book is not just about cancer, but about medicine, healing, and a marriage. The authors will be in conversation with Judy Levin, book reviewer and book club discussion leader.
