Electric Vehicles (EV) are in now in production with most car manufacturers popular in the United States. Both the Federal government and the State of Illinois have tax rebates and incentives in place that make the purchase of new EV's more attractive to purchasers. The state of Illinois, along with 5 other midwestern states have made a commitment to advance the EV infrastructure and build economic opportunity in the region. Adrian Arellano with Congressman Brad Schneider's Office will answer your questions about EV ownership, give a cost breakdown scenario, and discuss home charging set-ups.
