A Tree Grows In Brooklyn by Betty Smith. Follows young Francie Nolan, who is armed with her idealism and determination, as she struggles to escape from the poverty of life in a Brooklyn tenement during the early 1900s. Get the book.

This program is free and open to all. Email address required; instructions on how to log in to the online discussion will be sent the week of the event. In the event the program is changed from online to in-person, registered patrons will be notified.


Limited copies are available to Vernon Area Public Library cardholders for checkout.
