Artificial intelligence (A.I.) algorithms are ubiquitous. They come into play, for example, when you apply for jobs, when you take a photo on your phone, or when you engage in online dating. These algorithms are invisible to most of us but very impactful to our life. And most companies are looking to expand A.I. usage. But what are A.I. algorithms? How do they work? Where are their current limits? What are ethical considerations plaguing A.I. programmers currently? Sara Jamshidi, Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Mathematics at Lake Forest College will offer some answers to these questions.
