Explore great music by Mozart with instructors from Music Institute of Chicago. Enjoy live music and engage in games, activities, and lessons that explore the people, places, and culture of music history.

This program features the music and life of legendary composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart! Travel back in time and across the ocean to 18th century Austria to learn about Mozart's childhood as a touring musician. Play a game the young Wolfgang himself liked to play! Explore the colorful character's of Mozart's famous opera: The Magic Flute and imagine an adventurous opera of your own. Make a feathery craft inspired by The Magic Flute's hilarious birdcatchers!

This program is free and open to all children ages 4-8 with an adult, but registration is required. Register online here, by telephone at 224-543-1486 or in person at any public service desk in the library.
